About the
Hispanic Scholarship Alliance

The Hispanic Scholarship Alliance (HSA) was founded in 2006 and formally established in 2008, when five Hispanic non-profit organizations in the St. Louis region united with a shared mission: to increase access to higher education and vocational training for Hispanic and Latino students.

Each year, these organizations provide scholarships to students who are committed to advancing the social, economic, and cultural well-being of the Hispanic community—both locally in St. Louis and globally.

The highlight of our year is the HSA Scholarship Ceremony, held annually in late July. Organized by the Hispanic Leaders Group (HLG) in collaboration with all participating organizations, this special event celebrates our scholarship recipients and honors their dedication to education and community upliftment.
