Membership
Membership is open to any established Hispanic group and other groups and individuals who are supportive of the mission and goals of this organization.
HLG members and guests meet six times a year. During the meeting, specialists in their field give short and insightful discourses on their field of expertise or interest. These reunions help keep the community informed of issues of a social, political, or other nature of importance to Hispanics in St. Louis, its surrounding area or across the nation.
The meetings are a regular forum for speakers, spirited discussion, and valuable networking). We organize conferences and seminars, and we actively co-sponsor the annual Hispanic Day at Jefferson City (a non-partisan visit with elected officials and heads of agencies to raise awareness of issues affecting our Hispanic community).
Regular membership meetings are held on the second Wednesday of even months, February, April, June, August, October, and December. At 6:00 p.m. registration / networking takes place and at 6:30 p.m. the meeting starts. Most meetings are scheduled to end by 8:00 p.m.
