Our goal is to bring the largest delegation of Hispanics and Latinos from across the state to show our strength, unity, and commitment to building a better future. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with policymakers, learn about key issues affecting our community, and work toward a more prosperous and welcoming Missouri for all. Together, we can create lasting change and ensure our voices are heard.
Hispanic Capitol Day 2025 is organized by Hispanic Leaders Group in partnership with the Missouri Immigration Policy Coalition.

About this event
Hispanic Capitol Day is a non-partisan event designed to raise awareness and educate elected officials about issues that impact the Hispanic and Latinx community in Missouri. It also serves as a platform to empower members of our community to participate in civic activities and advocate for a better future for all.
This event is not affiliated with any political party, religious faith, or specific nationality—we are united as one Hispanic/Latinx community. As committed community members, we focus on advancing the interests and concerns of our community while working toward a more prosperous and welcoming Missouri for everyone.

What is included in the registration fee?
The registration fee covers breakfast, lunch, light snacks, and an advocacy folder with all the materials you'll need for the day.
What should I prepare for the day?
To ensure a productive experience, participants from across Missouri are encouraged to complete our online training sessions. After registering, you will be prompted to sign up for one of the two available training sessions.
What issues will be addressed during Hispanic Capitol Day?
The Hispanic Leaders Group, the Missouri Policy Coalition, and their partners are developing talking points and all necessary materials to prepare you for Hispanic Capitol Day.
What does the day’s schedule look like?
Hispanic Capitol Day is a professional event with two primary goals: Building relationships with elected officials and educating legislators about issues important to the Hispanic community.
The day will begin with conference style meetings with elected officials, followed by small group meetings where you’ll meet directly with your own representatives in the Capitol building. Please note that protesting and signage are not permitted at this event.
Is everyone required to pay the $25 registration fee?
Yes, all participants planning to attend Hispanic Capitol Day are required to register. If the cost presents a financial barrier, please contact us about scholarships at chair@stlhlg.org.
